Default IT Policy

Please Login to Remove!

Went from BES back to BIS. Did the backup and wipehand held and then restored. But I still have the IT policy last updated Oct 5 from when I activated the BES. But the only policy showing at the bottom is one that say BBM didn't know they had one for BBM. Will attach pic.

A Wipe doesn't get rid of the IT Policy.

You need to use JL_CMDER and use the RESETTOFACTORY option - that will wipe out the IT Policy.

Ugh was afraid of that. Is it worth it to go through all that just to take that off?

That depends on what you cannot do because of the policy.....

Well the only thing I have been limited to that I know of is not being able to do wireless udpate. But that is not that big of a deal for me.

Well the JL cmdr worked. Loaded it up and did the factory restore then stored my stuff. No more IT policy.

Only thing is I still have the BES folders listed under my messages. But that is no thing. And my option for wireless update is gone.
