I have bought a bold 9000 and I got my mail working

the problem I'm having is that whenever I get a mail with an attachment it doesn't recognise the file.

I have send a few doc via mail and received a .dat-file on my blackberry which it doesn't recognise.

I have got wordtogo and also for pdf etc etc

so whenever I get a mail with attachment the file is always a .dat

Can you guys help me please :(

Can't open a .dat file on a BB. Such files are generally indicative of the sender using rich text or similar format to generate the document.

Google is your friend: How do you open a dat file? | Answerbag

the problem is that I have send the mails myself in a plain doc with 3 words in it to test it

I don't think I'm using rich text

Thumbs up Memory Card

Do you have a memory card? I've found that with a memory card all word, xls and powerpoint files work fine...try that.
