Disable Voice Dial on Speakerphone

I have a Supertooth BlueAntII speakerphone in my car, which works very well with the 8830.
However, when I turn on the BA, it automatically engages the BB's Voice Dial.
The Options/Voice Dialing/Choice Lists is set to Always Off, and I also turned off the audio prompts. But the VD still engages whenever the spearkerphone is turned on, and sometimes will cause the BB to dial a number if the wrong word is said on the radio.
Is there any way to completely disable the Voice Dial function, or to remove the application entirely?
