Default Out of Memory on 7105t

Please Login to Remove!

For some reason I seem to be losing all of my SMS and call logs on my 7105t.

Here is some history:
- I received my 7105t back in June of this year
- We have a BB Enterprise Server in our office which syncs our email, etc
- Within the last couple of months, I installed Google maps to my phone

When I check the 'Status':
File Free = 0 Bytes
File Total = ~29MB

Now the problem that I have is that any call that comes into my phone, or outgoing call made, disappears from the call log with a few minutes. Also, my outgoing SMS messages disappear.

I have read on some of the forums to delete applications, but the only thing I have installed was google maps.

I proceeded to call T-Mobile tech support and they suggested that I need to have our adminstrator re-sync or re-install the app to my phone?? This did work for a bit, but now I still lose all of my logs.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Owen

Do you have multiple languages installed or multiple input languages? If so, delete the ones you do not need.

But the log is not that big. Those languages and input files are huge.

start uninstalling applications that you don't really use. That's what I do.. and make sure you delete phone logs and other messages/emails etc..

Has this been happening since you received the BB device in June or did it just start happening?

Basically, I believe it has only started happening once I installed google maps. As I previously indicated, when I called tech support they said I would need to have the app re-installed by our administrator. Once this was done, everything went back to normal, (i.e call logs were NOT deleting, etc), but then gradually over time, I started to lose the logs.

How do I check to see if multiple languages are installed so that I can delete if necessary?

Thanks, Owen

Try going into Settings / Tools / Options (or something like that) and then to Advanced and Applications. Bottom line is you have to get to the Applications utility on the BB. It will show you everything installed. If you don't want/need it, scroll to it, click the wheel and select Delete

Good luck!

This seemed to fix everything... I was out of memory.

By deleting unused applications and languages, that free'd up valuable memory.
Also by powering off, removing the battery, then powering back on seemed to free up memory as well.
