Is it safe to delete the native Maps app? If I do, will Google Maps run? (I'm trying to save some memory)

Will anything bad come of it? No. Will some third-party apps that allow you to display a location on a map (e.g., WorldMate Live) break if you try to access this feature after removing BBMaps? Yes. Do any of these third-party apps integrate with Google Maps? Not that I have seen.

I ended up keeping BBMaps because of things like WorldMate Live that can display various entries on a map. Yes, Google Maps slaps BBMaps silly, and is what I use when looking anything up myself. But BBMaps is handy for the integration aspect.
