Default Blue Tooth Pass Key, huh?

Please Login to Remove!

I just installed a Motorola USB Blue Tooth adapter on my PC and my BB found my PC but it's asking me for a Numeric and Alpha-numeric Pass Key, well I didn't configure any kind of Pass Key during the Blue Tooth installation, so I don't know what to enter?

Is it something that I'm gonna have to deal with Motorola about?

Thanks,
Ray

If your new PC BT device doesn't have it (default pass key) in its documentation, perhaps it's asking you to DEFINE a pass key, then you'll have to enter the same one on the other side to connect.

Most likely you will input the same pass key on device and pc. Some bt adapters like ear buds etc which have no way of setting it have a default key.

So does this mean that everytime I use a BT device it's going to ask me for a Pass Key?

I don't like that!

It only asks when you first pair it. Then after that it won't ask you again. For the Motorolas, use 0000
