I searched and found this asked before, but never an answer. I upgraded to 4.5.0.42 and now all of my received sms (including the old ones) have a red exclaimation mark and say Reply Requested at the top. I've never seen this before, so just asking if the sender really asked for a reply, or is it just something in the OS?

I saw that behavior on earlier versions, but haven't seen in on .37 or .42 (ATT, 8310)

This is a known issue with the 4.5 OS's.

I have them on all my inbound text messages except the ones from youmail. Still there after reply. 4.5.0.42.

Interesting... I only have them on sms messages that I have restored. New ones display normally.

yea that's what i'm seeing too. only the restored ones show the reply requested, new ones don't

Me too. Last time it seemed to go away after a bit, but I've just had a handset replacement and now they're back...
