You probably have a password on your blackberry.

This will wipe your device of all data and personal information after the 10th wrong attempt.

FIRST, do total backup with the Desktop Manager on your computer. Then use up the attempts to enter a password for the Key Store until you hit the 10 and WIPE point.

Then go to Options, Security, Key Store. Enter new password and verify by typing it again when asked. If you want to have this password the same as the master password, click the button to "Synchronize Key Store Password to Device Password." Note that the Device Password must be enabled to do this.

Do you really believe that answer was responsive and helpful? May I respectfully suggest you answer when you have something worthwhile to say.

Blackberry Internet Service and Blackberry Exchange Server. Basically, have you changed how you get your email from your personal account to maybe your corporate account?

When you installed the device software, you included the Certificate Keys. If you uninstall them from your device, you should be ok.

It's actually BlackBerry Enterprise Server. It works with Exchange, but is not limited to it. It works with Domino and GroupWise as well.

The key password is for certificates. If you do not sync certificates, the message should go away.
We use certificates to access some databases and have to type the password each time we sync.

I didn't realize that, since I associate it strictly with Exchange. Thanks for the tip, and sorry for the (temporary) thread hijack.
