Hi there, I just got my first Blackberry today, it's a pearl and I was just a bit concerned with some charges...

I wanted to add the facebook app that was in my icons and it asked me to download it and I just wasn't sure if you get an extra charge for that... I do pay for internet access so I just am slightly clueless to what is charged and what isn't. If you could help me out I would really appreciate it!

If you get the berry plan, that allows you access to everything but tethering.

If you don't know what tethering is, you shouldn't be concerned and shouldn't worry about it

Most carriers do not included tethering, texting or voice in their Blackberry packages. But ad dankarlinski said, if you have a data plan, all apps that use data / internet will be included in the data plan.
