Default not enough memory

Please Login to Remove!

I have 1GB on the Bold and a 8GB Sd card. There is 25MB left for application, and 800+MB memory available on the device. When i went to restore the last version of data back-uped, the desktop manager says not enough memory to do that?
What should I do next? Delete everything and start over?

First, pull the battery while it's running to force a soft reset. That will free up all the possible internal memory. You generally need 10+ MB for your BB to function smoothly and correctly. When it gets to that point you can see sluggish performance, deleted messages and calendar appointments, etc. Having 25 MB of free internal memory available is plenty.

Restart the computer you're using to run Desktop Manager as well.

Make sure all your pictures, videos, music, and personal ringtones are stored on the media card.

Here is a link that contains Rambo's suggestions, and some others:

The way I understand it, resetting the device does not clear what is in the device's memory. Powering down the device or performing the key combination you just described performs such a reset.

Pulling the battery forces a complete reboot of the device, clearing everything that had been in memory ... running apps, clipboard items, etc. Quickpull (I use v2 as I imagine most members of these forums do) simulates a physical battery pull.
