do i need a internet plan, to be able to use bb messenger? can i get free internet ? . i want the bb messeger on my fone but i dont want to go on contract but i dont mind paying. is there any other ways to get the internet on your fone ?

depends on your carrier (network you are on)
some carriers have PAYG data plans (Orange UK only it appears)
others have it on a SIM Only contract (30 days rolling)
And all have it on contract, and some only on contract.

The only carrier we know of that does PAYG Blackberry data plans is Orange UK.
If you are on another carrier, it won't matter.
