I like my bold, however, it failed on me several time.

first, the keyboard "End' key fell off, AT&T doesnt responsible for hardware problem even though the phone is less than 1 year old. They suggested me to send the phone in for them to repair and pay $75 for it. Since I am in Sales and I need my phone 24/7, I cant live without one. Plus $75 is a lot of money considering I can get it cheaper from ebay or cnn.cn. So, I bought a faceplate and fix it myself, no problem.

Then, after a couple weeks later, one of the six screw holes broke and I have to replace it with a new faceplate. no problem for perhaps a week.

Then, suddenly, one morning, (I normally charge my phone overnight), I unplug my fully charge phone from the phone charger and move forward to take shower and get ready for work. When I come back, I see my battery had drained to yellow.

From then on, my battery will drain so quickly and my phone will turn so hot even though I just let it sit there without using it.

I am thinking to bring this in to ATT to check, but I doubt they would give me a replacement. Is this a battery problem or the motherboard problem? Will the problem fix by getting another battery?

oh btw, in between those fixing, I did upgrade my beejive, BBM and empower html mail to the latest version, is it possible that any of these causing the problem?

Try changing the battery.

just did today, but it didnt work, it is still hot and the battery drain quickly.

anyone else has any idea?
