Hi,

I'm trying to find out some information on the BES Attachment Service.
I don't have experience with BES at all and need to evaluate some aspects of it.
My questions are:

1. What occurs once the Attachment Service ceases to operate. Can users still view emails?
-Can they not view any emails at all?
-Can they view emails but not the attachments?

2. In a scenario where the Attachment Service is deployed on the same server as other BES modules, if the Attachment Service was compromised, what effect would this have on the remaining BES modules?
-Would BES cease to operate all together? (There is probably no definitive answer to this question, however any information would be useful)

Any help at all would be appreciated.
