Angry Blackberry, Nevermore

Please Login to Remove!

I got my blackberry imported here to sweden about 7 days ago.
Everything went smooth until about 4 hours ago.

I've never broken a phone in my whole life, but this little beauty broke from a fall of about 5cm FIVE ****ING CENTIMETRE

I have no idea what's broken. But it won't boot or charge.
Do you think it's anything you can fix by yourself?
And getting it repaired isnt an option since Blackberrys don't exist in Sweden.

Have you taken the back cover off and made sure the battery is correctly seated?

hmm.
Have you tried taking out, putting it back in and seeing if you get any kind of red LED notification that may show its trying to boot?

Ah, its possible therefore that it needs charging, but wont show you its charging till its charged a bit

Wirelessly posted

After it has been charging a little while, with the blackberry still connected, remove the battery for half a minute and then replace it.

If the device came with a micro SD card installed, make sure it is seated in the receptacle.

I've had it on loading for about 6h now, and i don't think the battery is the problem. I can't access my BB from the computer, which means i can't do those OS upgrades ppl are talking about.

Do you think a drop from 5cm could damage a new BB that bad?
I really need help with this.

Certainly it is possible! Are there any signs of power to the BB while it is charging?

What exactly happens when you remove the battery and put it back in? Also, what happens when you plug in the blackberry to the charger?

Can you try a different PC?
Connect the USB cable to a main REAR usb port, not a hub or front PC usb port.

When you ask if it's possible the drop broke the blackberry, yes, it possibly could happen, but I think it is very unlikely that a single drop from that small height did any real harm.

You say the battery charge was very low at the time. Review the posts above again. You will not see any response on the device until the battery is charged some. If you didn't do it, then do this: After the device has been connected to a power source (wall charger or USB) for at least an hour or so, leave the blackberry connected to the power source, and remove the battery for a few moments and then replace. See what happens.

If the device does not boot up, and you still see nothing, nadda, zip, zero, then I believe the next step is to try another battery which you know is good. It sounds to me like your battery is stone cold dead. At least you need to rule that in or out.
