Smile Device Memory Issue....

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,
I have an issue with my BB 9700. Its just 3 months old. Yesterday it suddenly started flashing an error saying, "BlackBerry message memory and SIM card full. Please delete some SMS messages." I thought it was high time I got rid of some texts, so I deleted like loads n loads of texts, but after I received one more, it flashed it again. And now, I cant receive a text till I dont delete one. I did the battery pull. Got rid of all apps on my phone. And have no media stored on the phone memory. But it still keeps flashing it. I dont have any services activated on it. I am just using it as a normal phone.
Please tell me what to do.
Thanks.

How much free memory do you have?
options > stats > file free

what is the following set to?
options > sms text > "leave messages on sim card"
