Default how to send a push event that open an URL on the clien

Please Login to Remove!

Dear all

i'm a newbie in the Blackberry netword and development, my question is:

is it possible to send a "push" event that open an HTTP URL on the device?

Something like:

1) SERVER => (PUSH: open myurl) CLIENT
2) CLIENT => launch the browser and point it to myurl

Thanks to all in advance

NOTE:

i want to do that using the standard PUSH architecture, without installing anything on the device

I do not believe what you want to do is possible without a software component on the device. You can push information to the device browser, but it will not interrupt the user to display your data over what the user is already doing. You could do that with an application on the device though.
