When I put my 9700 in my pocket it gets a blank white screen and I have to do a pull to get it back on. This only happens in my pocket.
Any ideas anyone what's wrong with my phone

Is there any error code? And confirm it only happens when you put it in your pocket. Does it happen every time?

Not error and yet its only when in my pocket and I put nothing in my pocket with it and I ware loose track pants

Ya every time I put it in my pocket. I can't keep it in there more then 5 min. I can leave in out and works fine and soon as I pocket it whit screen.

I guess the solution right now is don't carry it in your pocket.

Has it been dropped or gotten wet?

What were you doing just before this began to occur?

Never drop never wet its like 4 months old I can't really carry its around in my hand all day :p and I'm doing normal bb stuff browning text email work stuff. Then I stop work pocket it and I tack it back out and bam whit screen. Only thing that workd it the screen lock I can lock it back to the black screen and unlock it back to the white screen.

How about the pouch that clips to your belt?

Are you sure that it is the white screen of death and not some other screen?

White screen of death that don't sound good :( this is my first bb and I'm not happy is they always problems like this white screen and I lost the pouch I never planed on using it.

I seem to remember reading here on the forum some time ago people having problems after putting the phones into their pants pockets, but I think that was caused by the tight fit. It doesn't sound like that's the issue with yours. How about doing an OS upgrade and see if it isn't an OS issue. Would be worth the try at least.

Not sure but it was worth a try. How long have you had the phone? Is it under warranty?

How about booting into safe mode and see what happens. If it's a bad app or theme this will let you know as it only boots up the bare essentials. Here's the "how to": KB17877-How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in safe mode
