Default PocketDay and All Day Events

Please Login to Remove!

I have birthdays set up as All Day Events and it lasts one day.

On the PocketDay Today screen, it lists the event today, even though it occurs tomorrow.

Is this a bug in the software or do I have something set wrong?

Hmm. I am not having the problem.

Is your device time in synch with the program, so there is no overlap?

Yep everything appears to be in sync. I'll post a screenshot when I get home tonight so you can see exactly what I'm talking about.

Thank you. I assume setting your appoints from 12:00 A.M. TO 11:59 P.M. is not an option for you.

What version of PocketDay are you using with what OS? This had been an issue in the past, but I thought that it had been resolved.

In Settings, General, I have "Use Cal Offset (DO NOT USE)" checked, and it stopped my calendar events from displaying one day early.

I am running v5.2.4.6 but that setting has been present for several versions now.

WillJitsu,

Make sure you are running PD 5.2.1 and set the Use Cal Offset option in PD general settings. Certain BB OS versions behave "poorly" with 3rd party apps, thus the switch.

I finally had a chance to take some screenshots.

I am running version 5.2.1 and I did not have "Use Cal Offset (DO NOT USE)" checked before, but I do now, and it still displays this way.

Here you can see it shows the birthday listed Today and Wed Apr 30 even though it only occurs on Wed Apr 30:

This is the details of the actual event. Again, you can see it's only set for Wed Apr 30:

Doesn't show up on Tue Apr 29's details:

I just deleted the event and recreated it after enabling the "Use Calendar Offset (DO NOT USE)" option and it appears to be displaying correctly now.

I have it showing items 1 day in advance, so this appears to be working correctly now:

I guess I spoke too soon.

Yesterday it looked fine after marking the "Use Calendar Offset (DO NOT USE)" option.

Today, however, it still shows the event, even though it should have ended yesterday:

Is there really no true fix for this?
