[5 for Fighting]

Someone told me I can email a pic to myself and then save it on the berry and put it on my screen. But I'm having no luck. I'm on a Verizon 8703.

well if its anything like my BB.....you open the attachment then hit the trackwheel and a menu should come up....w/ an option for "save"

So i've done that but where does it save to. Its not where the other pics are?

You can specify when you hit save file it should come up with :

Path: /home/user/pictures/

The image can be named whatever. Use your track wheel to go up to the path, and/or file name to specify a different location, or name. I just track wheel to save and the default puts it in my pictures. Hope that helps.

Very strange. When I'm over the [1 Attachment] it only has "save" but no option on where to save it. Is there another setting?

When you go to your email and track wheel down to the attachment, click and it should bring up a bunch of options which include download attachments. It should then take you to an attachment screen where you will track wheel down to full content. When you press it, it opens and shows a check mark. Push on this which brings up the options: view, options, close. Push on view. This takes you to the image. In this screen push which should bring up the following options: Help, Save Image, Zoom In, Zoom Out, Zoom All, Zoom 1:1, Rotate, Send to Messenger Contact, Close. Push on Save Image which should give you the options for the Path and File name. Sorry I did this long hand. I forgot my sync cable or I would image my screens showing the same thing.

i know my pearl naturally wants to save to the microSD card.....if you have an expansion card....it probably is defaulting to there as the save place.
