My uncle got a new BB 8100 pearl as an upgrade but he's happy with his phone and gave it to me as I've been desperate for one.

However, he says the camera was working - but it's not for me! The phone is brand new and everything works fine- but when I try to load the camera it says:

"Uncaught exception net.rim.vm.MissingNativeError"

Does anyone know what this is and how I can fix it?

I hear the camera isn't half bad so I'd like to have it as a working function! lol

Welcome to the forums,
Have you tried removing the battery and reinserting? If that doesn't help, it's probably time to wipe the handheld and reload the OS. See this post.
