Default sent email

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all and sorry for such a basic first post!

I can recieve emails from both of my business webmail accounts on my new Pearl but when I send or reply to mails I am not saving the mails back to the ISP server

How do I set this up as I just deleted a quote to a customer and have forgotton how much I quoted arrgh!

You need to be on a BES for two-way e-mail reconciliation.

I'm assuming you're not using BES, since you're referring to webmail acoxxxxs. You're probably using BIS.

If you are indeed using BIS, then you could try setting up an Auto BCC: so it copies yourself on every e-mail you send as a workaround.

Thats what I have done. I BCC myself and set up a folder and rule in Outlook to save all of my BB sent emails. You can also go on your BIS set up and filter OUT your address as the sent from so these will not show up on your BB after you send them....

For BIS - go on the internet to the page were you set up your account and "edit". You will see a field for Auto BCC. There you can add your email addy to copy our outbound messages. IF you dont want these to appear on your BB you can go to "filter" and enter your sent from address and check "Do not forward messages to handheld"
