I am not sure if this the right place to put this query.I am basically a developer and develop applications on BB.For client server kind of application i have to connect my BB simulator to my BES server and get it activated. But whenever i try to activate it i get an error message "Activation request failed.A server connection is unavailable."

I have tried wiping the simulator, regerating the encription key and activating again n again but in vain.Funny thing is it show tht my simulator has a "running" status on BES but also says last contacted "never". can someone please tell me wht could be the problem.

What is your BB simulator? the handheld simulator you've download from RIM? If so, you cannot activate this against a BES server connected to a production NOC.
