We have recently installed a Nortel Phone system with unified messaging. We are able to send the fax(.TIF) or voice mail(.WAV) files to the desktop. These attachments open there just fine. When sent to the same account but pulled in to the Blackberry we get unsupported file type in header and no attachment. We do not use BES or Exchange. The phones are different models and they do have attachment service running and are able to open other attachments.

Blackberry devices only support certain formats as attachments. Do a search of the forum. Someone was asking a similar question the other day.
