hi all,

please help me figure out why youtube doesnt work on 3G, but works fine when I am connected to a Wi-Fi network? all my configs are correct, i.e. "Switching to WAP for streaming media" is unchecked.

It works on WiFi, whyyyyy doesnt it work on 3G??? Whats wrong with my Bold =(

What os version are you running?
Anything less than .167 doesn't do youtube very well.

I have the 147 version which i guess is old...I have not tried Youube on Wifi....but it does not work on 3G....any ideas??

I recently upgraded to the .190 OS, and to get youtube to work on 3G I go to the Advanced Options>TCP: Then add "internet.com" for the APN. No need for username and password. It it worked from there for me. I'm on Rogers BTW.

But when I had .185 OS or lower, I had to do the same thing as above, plus deleting the "WAP BrowserConfig" and "Rogers Do More" Service Books. (The service books come back everytime you reboot)

i'm on At&T network... geez, i'm also noticing that the "AT&T Music" icon.. none of the subicons work. If I try, it says "Unable to connect to the internet"

youtube works on wifi and 3g for me on at&t

YouTube works for me only on some wifi access points, and spotty with 3G. All other internet services work.

Running .190 on at&t
