I don't know the numbers, but the USB cable will be faster, is what I have read around here.
Let us know your experience?

USB 2.0, 480 Mbit/s
Universal Serial Bus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
BT v1.2, 1 Mbit/s
BT v2.0 + EDR, 3Mbit/s
Bluetooth - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mbit/s - A megabit per second (abbreviated as Mbit/s or Mbps) is a unit of data transfer rate equal to 1,000,000 bits per second. Because there are 8 bits in a byte, a transfer speed of 8 megabits per second (8 Mbps) is equivalent to 1,000,000 bytes per second (approximately 976 kB/s).

well... the existing devices are only 1.5mb/sec transfer. the 8330 is USB 2, and will top out at 60mb/sec via USB.

Who has used both; USB cable and Bluetooth wireless? What is your opinion on those two. Which do you prefer to use most?

I have yet to open the Bluetooth box. Should I take it back? Using the USB cable is not that big of a hassel. Are there other uses for the bluetooth beside using it as a modem with my laptop?

I rarely use bluetooth on my laptop at all. I have a small bluetooth dongle and almost never use it.

Max is sometimes just theoretical but I'll stick to the fact that USB is faster than BT.

What do YOU use?
It sounds like Bluetooth is just a bunch of hype... I think I wasted $35.

USB is still faster for backups, but bluetooth is definitely convenient if you need to make backups often.

I use both and don't see any difference between USB and Bluetooth. They both seem pretty fast. I rather use Bluetooth. No cable and I don't even have to take my BB off my belt to log on the net.
