Default Handheld Software Upgrade Issues 6230

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

i have searched the forums bt can't find an answer for my problem.

my t mobile 6230 is running 3.6.0.73. I am trying to upgrade it using the t-mobile upgrade page.

when I get into the desktop manager and try to add the new software, a message pops up telling me some files in the 4.0 core application are missing.

what gives - it is driving me crazy!!

http://software.se.t-mobile.com/

From there? Did you install the desktop manager first and then the 4.0 software?

Well first of all, we don't even know if you are doing it right. What method are you using?

[QUOTE=stonent]Well first of all, we don't even know if you are doing it right. What method are you using?[/QUOTE

I have the old 5810 model, I am using the desktop mgr to upload from, not only that I have also noticed that my address book for my contacts on my bb isn't even showing anything other then a name, when i click to view address nothing but a phone number. I am SUPER knew to this thing and I am already not liking it, I am trying to make the best of it and maybe its just something I'm not doing right. I have also upgrading the software to 3.6 if that makes a difference.

Thanks for any help...
