Hi - I want to specify the order that the BB plays all my song files. I see that the BB media application has a playlist function, and I can individually add songs to the playlist, and do rudimentary editing via the GUI.

What I'd like to do is find the playlist file, xfer to PC, edit it there, and then move it back. This is so I can add A LOT of songs in a PARTICULAR order quickly. Can I do this?

Is there another free/cheap app I can download that will do this? (BerryTunes doesn't support it).

thanks - but does that imply that I CAN'T access/edit the playlist for the native Media app?

Yea can edit yout playlists from your BB device.. Media -> Music -> Play lists hit the menu key on the slected playlist and view it from there you can add/delete songs.

Gee - Umm, thanks Steve086 - but that's the answer to a question opposite to mine. I know I can edit the playlists, slowly, on the BB.

But What I want to do is to import the playlist file to the PC, edit it there more efficiently, and send it back. I can't find it on the BB though.

One thing you might try, is to see if the playlist shows up in Roxio Media Manager through the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

Yes - thanks, that works. also the Roxio program is sluggish and horrible 8-}.

Has anyone been able to do this with WMP-11 (if so, maybe i'll upgrade from 10)

Interesting though, the playlists do not show up in the files/folders on the blackberry, (or in the listing of blackberry music files on the roxio) they're just, well, there.... 8-}
