Default Storm on VZW vs... anyone else is it right for me?

Please Login to Remove!

So I have never had a BB, but I like the storm and I have Verizon!
Will I really loose almost all APPs if I keep it on VZW compared to a GSM network?(I'm not going to switch)

Is there any way to unlock all the feature of the BB while keeping it on VZW?

I have both MAC and PC I am always on the mac and the PC is never used but since there are so few programs for BB and Mac should I just use the PC w/ the BB I mean will trying to use the Mac just be a pain?

Sorry I know I could find this one myself but how large is the headphone port 2.5 or 3.5mm?

Thanks!

1. Loose all apps?? Not sure what you mean.

2. There are no "locks" on the 9530 on VZW

3. There are many synch solutions including Google which is PC independent

4. Stand headphone size. Any normal headphone will work.

So your saying it is easier to just use PC?

I thought VZW blocked some features?

Easier to sync to a PC yes. Mac sync will be out in 2009.

Verizon has only locked down GPS in the past to their VZ Navigator application. The Storm has no restrictions.

He was saying you don't need to use the PC, you can use Google for Cloud Syncing. Also, your 9530 can update the OS Wirelessly.

I use Missing Sync for Mac and love using my Blackberry with my Mac.

Okay I would rather stick to my computer the PC's in this house are my dads, and my sisters and my brothers!

So I think I'm going w/ the Storm! ughh now to figure out how to get by w/o him noticing the $30 a month....

I know I'll just credit the account $30 each month....

+1 for Missing Sync for the Mac. The only problem of course is the Application Loader. If you can get away with doing o.t.a. installs for the new apps you want, you're sitting pretty.

Some thing tells me that you don't realize that to own a Blackberry you have to have a data plan + voice plan = $70+ mo.

Yeah daddy won't notice... lol..

More like daddy's going to go ape shit.

Umm I know BIS is $30 and I think BES is $40 I know what it is, my bill is already $90 then $30 so it will be $120 maybe a little more w/ a little more tax, plus I run the account, plus I have a job and can pay it myself, he just doesn't like the idea of Verizon getting any more money...

When I say I run the account I mean I can do anything to plan on the site, so I could order, and since you can pay the bill online, so when he tells me to pay it I will just put $30 on my account and the rest on his... If he doesn't agree to let me get the plan.....

So has there been any update on the camera?
