Default SMS and call log vanishing?! 8130

Please Login to Remove!

A few weeks ago my call log and all my SMS text vanished. then again about a week later. Since it has started to happen more and more frequently.

Today now, Every call I make or miss, the log shows up, until I lock the phone. As soon as I unlock it the log is empty.

I plan to upgrade the OS later, but does anyone have any other ideas?!

its an 8130 on Sprint.

Have you checked your available memory?

You are running out of free memory. Click on Options -> Status to check the File Free number.

Then read this: http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ee-memory.html

....to keep it from happening again.

Thank you!

I didnt read through that whole post/sticky but I just simply deleted some apps and freed up a ton of memory.

Could this have anything to do with Telnav not working? I get a "bad signal" error when trying to run the GPS...

Oh also,,

When you download an email attachment, are those files stored somewhere or are they deleted after you view them? Ive viewed some very large PDF's, they would be hogging a ton of space if there were still on there.

how can you adjust what is stored on the microSD card rather than on the device?

When you download and email attachment it will take up space on your device memory.

The only stuff you can store on the microSD card is media - pictures, video, etc. However, if you upgrade to 4.5 OS, I *think* you can save some attachments to your card (courtesy of DocsToGo).

where do I find those attachments in my device memory to remove them? I have "mobile file manager" installed for browsing folders etc.

Thanks for all your help juwaack! Ill be upgrading OS as soon as I have time without needing my computer (since I dont want to disturb it)
