Question New Jawbone Owner - A Couple of Questions ...

Please Login to Remove!

I just purchased a Jawbone ... today is my first day using it and I have a few questions:

(1) Regardless of which ear loop or ear piece I select, the Jawbone seems to pop loose when I lean forward. Are there any "tricks" to securing this thing in the ear?

(2) What is the deal with that little piece of rubber that covers the charging area on the Jawbone? That thing is so lightly connected that I'd guess that I'm going to lose that thing in a few days. Does Aliph actually expect that thing to stay on, or was it just there during shipping and you're not actually supposed to keep it in place?

Thanks in advance.

Wirelessly posted (8800: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8310/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

1. Look here in the hardware section and you will find a thread on the jawbone explaining how to use the Jabra mini Gels without the wireloop. I find that method of wear the best. Otherwise, you'll need to bend the loop that best fits you, to your liking.
2. Throw that little tiny rubber piece away. It is there only for shipping to keep the contacts clean.

I must say 1) I must have took a couple days to get a good combo or earloop and ear piece but now I sometimes forget I even have the thing on.
2) I've had my Jawbone for a few months now and only lost that little rubber piece just the other day.

Yeah, I've been trying the different combos and none of them seems to work perfectly. My last BT headset fit perfectly but didn't sound very good. Now I have a Jawbone that sounds great but doesn't fit very well. I'd love to find one that had the best of both worlds.
