ABC is always there covering my signal strength meter.. Any way to get rid of it?

I have noticed that if I open the browser, click the menu button, click "go to" and move the curser out of the address bar, then it goes away. HTH!

I've had the same issue. I use multitap most all the time. What I have found is that the ABC stays there if I don't close my typing apps like my calendar or address book. Anyone?
