Why is it that if you are late to a doctor or dentist appt they will cancel but if you are on time you often have to wait!
If you cancel it with less than 24 hours they charge you a fee!
Can I charge them a fee if they do not see me at my scheduled time? I had an appt at 8:15 it is now almost 9! I have thing to do. Not being at work is costing me money.
That is so irritating. Fortunately I rarely have to wait for either my doctor or dentist.
I love it, too, when you wait in the waiting room (past your appt time) then they call you back to an exam room and you wait MORE. The only saving grace is my doctor will spend as much time as I need, and I don't feel rushed at all. If I have a lot of questions, she will spend the time to answer them so I understand.

The hospital here in my hometown is notorious for taking forever, though it varies by doctor and some take less time than others. If I make an appointment for 2pm, I won't be back in the exam room until at least 2:45, guaranteed. So much fun.
