Default DM not recognizing Storm - Help.

Please Login to Remove!

I am a Mac user and I installed Virtual Box and Windows XP Pro with SP3. (I was really afraid my Mac might throw up, but that is another discussion!). I then installed the DM and my device is not being recognized by the DM. I have uninstalled Missing Sync on both the device and my laptop. I am currently running OS .75 on my Storm and would like to upgrade to .109 beta - which was the whole purpose of the installation!

I have upgraded windows and reinstalled the DM, but the problem persists.

Can someone help please?

Thank you.

d_1000,

If you trail back a month or two through these threads, I believe someone troubleshot this matter and developed a solution. I think they were running Windows XP through Bootcamp.

I am a MAC user however I have an old PC with XP that I maintain for interfacing with my Storm and the wife's Curve.

I honestly think you should find a similar solution. Until Blackberry develops a DM for MAC, I think MAC users will always have problems syncing with their phones using software not developed specifically for the MAC.

Thank you...I have heard rumors that RIM may not be pursuing the MAC DM as aggressively as before. ARRRRRRG!!
