I am used to Palm Hotsync so I don't know the details on my new BB hotsync. Does it backup all of the settings in my phone, bookmarks, browser preferences, etc? Also is there a way to transfer bookmarks from my Tour to my wife's Tour?

There is a difference between syncing, which uses the Intellisync program included in Desktop Manager and BACKING UP the data on the BlackBerry, using the Backup and Restore functions.

Syncing, using Intellisync, only syncs up your Calendar, Contacts, Notes and Tasks.

Syncing does not touch your Bookmarks.
