The mapi32.dll verions is differs from our exchange 2003 servers (we just migrated from 5.5).

The mapi32.dll is a lower verion from our exchange servers. RIM says to update the dll from the exchange sp1, but it wont let me do that because exchange is not installed on the BES. I just installed the admin tools for 2003 which updated the dll, but its still lower then the ones on the exchange servers.

How do I update the mapi32.dll on the BES? Can I copy the dll from the exchange sp 1 cd and regsrv it? Will that work?

No you can't copy it as there are other dependent files. I would recommend searching on microsoft.com for the version of mapi32.dll that your Exchange has. This will lead you to whatever Service Pack or Hot Fix was applied to Exchange. You then apply the same update to the BES.
