Default Setting to automatically reboot device after set time period.

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Guys,

I am trying to find a policy or setting on either or ideally both BES 4.1 or BES 5.0 that will turn my users BlackBerry off then back on at a specified time of day/night so just give it a reboot to push and banked jobs, exceptions and also to re register with the wireless network.

So far I have not been able to find the correct way to do this and was hoping one of you gents may know how this is done ?

I know there the quick pull app that essentially does the same thing but I need to be able to apply it centrally through our BES servers.

Any help will be appreciated

Cheers

Karl

This can't be done via BES.

As penguin states, there is no official way. But I have recognized, if I do certain policy changes, a reboot pop-up appears on all devices, which will reboot the device eventually.

It definitely happens if I push out updates to wirelessly distributed apps.
