Default What tools are best for monitoring BES?

What is the best tool to use if the email on the BES stops flowing for any reason to alert us?

It could alert your via your SMS instead of email. I'm not sure how BoxTone uses it's alerting technology.

What about MOM 2005 or even What's Up Gold? I've never really used anything to monitor a BES server before, so someone else might have better ideas.

Default Blackberry monitoring (700+)

I have a 700+ blackberry coroporate user community and am looking for a blackberry monitoring tool. Does anyone use Boxtone in the UK or Ancoris? or can anyone suggest another tool?

i'm not sure if you already know this or not, it may not be what your looking for. On blackberry's site is a resource kit. I believe i saw a couple of monitoring features listed in it.

it's free so worth a shot!

We use NeedText Monitor which was just aquired by RIM. It works pretty well.

We use NEEDText as well. It's works well and it will be much nicer in the future as RIM has just acquired them.

BoxTone can alert via email and SNMP traps to MOM for e.g. You can also view the status your BlackBerry environment on your BlackBerry using our Handheld Console.

Indeed BoxTone has customers in UK. Let me know if you need more information about our product.
