why does my call log dissapear all of a sudden??? I've searched like a maniac and nothing seems to work! Not the hard reset! Not the memory clear. Wtf is going on???? can anyone please help?? I have the 8100 pearl. are there any updates for this???

i had already been to that first link... and i searched "call logs", " call logs dissapear" . I even googled it. it seem Cingular has a fix for this. I have t-mobile. Nothing. Could my phone be defective??? this wasn't happening before. I've had it 5 months now.

At the top of the forum there is a word that says "search." Click on it and type in call logs disappear.

I just tried it and pulled up many threads on the issue. You can also type in memory leak.

Your BB is running low on memory. You need to clean it up. Do you have a microSD card? Make sure all your pictures are being stored on the SD card. Remove any unused apps you may have loaded. If you have lots of ringtones on the device, clean some of them out.

Also, you can upgrade to the latest 4.2.1.107 OS from TMo that came out today. There is a sticky thread at the top of the 8100 forum with instructions on how to do this.
