I show ,for example 45 messages even though I have deleted them in my email account. When I go to the "messages" it lists all phone calls made or recieved? where are the messages so i can delete them.

Goto the phon>options>call logging and change the settings to log only the calls that you want to see show up in your message list. I have mine set to log only missed calls.

Yours is probably set to log all calls.
