Hi there. I am trying to help the boss here. We both have 8800's on BES. When we open the same small word and excel attachments there is a big lag on his berry. My berry opens things almost immediately where his takes a few mins.

The main difference between myself and him is that he gets many more emails than I do. His email database is probably huge. Where mine is about 400mb.

Any info is appreciated. Will get me some brownie points with the boss.

I had him delete some of the previous days emails off his berry. It think he had quite a few it took almost a minute to clear all of them. We'll see if that makes a difference.

Did you check the free memory on the device by going to Options - Status?
