Greetings everyone!,

I have what I think is a very unique problem (lol), I have a BB Pearl 8100, with OS v4.2.1.103. I noticed that version 4.5 was out, so I decided to give it a try! but it bacame a horrible horrible nightmare! lol.

I've tried soooo many ways to upgrade the OS that I can't think how to do it anymore because they all failed!.. I tried:

1. Normal update (Via Desktop Manager Software v4.7 & 4.6 & 4.5).
2. BlackBerry website, clicking on Update.
3. Enterprise update.
4. Carrier (Telefonica/Latin America, which is where I am) update, they told me that my BB Pearl 8100 was compatible to upgrade to v4.5.
5. Downloading the update and manually installing it (I mean by downloading the update and clicking "Install" xD).

And NONE of them worked!!.. I went to my Carrier Support Center and they said they'll charge me 65$ for the upgrade!! And I have too much pride to give those bas&/%ds 65$ lol.. So I am asking for your help!! :D, how can I install 4.5?! Is there a way to force the installation!? I don't know like a flash method or something??..
