I am travelling to the carribbean with my 8830 world edition. I want to be able to make and recieve calls at Verizon's roaming rates, but I do not want to receive any data that would incure huge charges...


is there anyway to turn data off temporarily from the device?
What are my other solutions to BLOCK data while I am roaming?

I believe if you go to Options > Mobile Network and set Data Services to Off.
