I use Outlook's junk mail filter's white list feature. This feature will automatically move all email that does not come from a known source to a junk mail folder. I also use the Redirector to transfer email to my blackberry 7520.
Until a week ago, it seemed that the junk-mail filter caught the emails first which meant that the redirector only sent items that ended up in the inbox. For some reason, this has stopped working and now the redirector is sending all emails. Nothing has changed on the machine running the redirector or the account itself. I keep outlook open all the time so the junk mail is still being removed from the inbox.
Can anyone shed any light on how the redirector works in context of Oulook's filters?
Thanks for the reply. I probably did not make myself clear. Previously, it seemed that Outlook caught junk mail and removed it from the inbox before the redirector caught it. That meant that I did not receive any junk mail on my blackberry. Now, it seems like it reversed and the redirector catches the emails first, sends them, and then Outlook catches them and removes them from the Inbox.
Is anyone familiar with any settings that would allow the redirector to wait a certain amount of time before checking for new emails?
