Anyone using version 9530 .85 firmware on Telus ?

Does anyone have access to the .78 9530 Telus load for incase a downgrade is necessary after an upgrade

Yes. I ran the .85 version on my Telus Storm.

It didn't come with .78, it came loaded with .76, same as what's currently available to download from Bell.

For me, it was a little quicker in most areas, the same in others. My suggestion, after doing it this way this morning, is wipe the unit with JL_Cmder and then load the OS. In doing so I know the unit was pristine when upgraded, and two, I could remove any of the ALX and COD files I didn't want thereby leaving me with between 53 and 55 Mb of free space.

Default .85 and Telus

Here is my experience with .85 and Telus:

The Good
- Faster
- Keyboard is more responsive
- Faster Boot Time

The Bad:
- Putting the phone back into the leather pouch disconnects live calls
- Sometimes the camera only shows 1/4 of the screen (can be fixed by exiting and re-entering camera)
- Slightly lesser battery life than .76
- Freezes under extreme load
