Default Help! BB won't charge!

Please Login to Remove!

I plugged my phone via data cable into my friends PS3 last night to charge (same thing as using a computer to charge), and then when I got home and plugged my phone into my AC charger, it did not recognize it. I went to VZ and tried a few chargers, car and AC, so I know its not my charger, but I can still charge my phone using the data cable and a computer. Is there a setting that got changed? I don't think it's the phone because it still charges with a computer. Any ideas what went wrong?

Yep, the USB port on the PS3 is likely not powered and doesn't have the drivers to charge the BB.

what probably happened was the cable wasnt plugged in all the way.. or it could just be the ps3 wasnt on and so it didnt charge because i know the xbox 360 wont charge a phone while its off even tho it will charge a xbox controller when its off i think the ps3 does the same thing where it will charge a controller while its off but not a phone.. idk thats what im thinkin it is

You need the drivers that are installed with Desktop Manager. That is why it wouldn't work on the PS3.

I agree. I don't understand why the OP is confused about this.
