Default Contacts Missing (+ Unable to delete contacts)

Please Login to Remove!

I send all my contacts from my Bold 9000 to my Bold 9700 via BlackBerry Messenger and at first they all appeared to work. Having spent a few hours migrating other bits of information across to my Bold 9700 using the desktop manager (I had both the bolds connected at once) and doing several soft and hard resets all but four of my contacts are missing. the four that remain I cannot delete (i.e. when i go to delete them, nothing happens).

I have tried typing RSET in Menu -> Contacts -> Menu -> Options to erase the contact list, but this does not remove the four stubborn contacts.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I presume I have lost the other contacts for good - or could you suggest a way of bringing them back?

Is there a way to permanently delete the four contacts?

Any help would be appreciated.

That sounds like a complicated way to handle transferring of contacts; do you not have Outlook? A simple sync with Outlook would have been a lot easier.

Are those 4 contacts stored on your SIM by chance?

I realise that now, having tried to discover what could have happened, and will definitely be using Outlook moving forwards. However, I would like to start from scratch and deleting these 4 contacts is proving impossible.

I can confirm that they are NOT sim contacts.
