In addition to having made the Search link a different color, how about making it blink...

The red search test over the blue bar is very difficult to see on some monitors. May I suggest Yellow text?

Yellow, maybe on its own toolbar repeated several times? With boxes and music?

Hee Hee, just joking. I do agree with the Yellow, or maybe orange. Red is almost
"look-over-able"

Must make for a bad day at the golf course.

How about blinking red? Or bright red, not maroon.

It does need to be a different colour, there's no doubt about that. I think a brighter colour and possibly bigger font will do it. Please please please don't make it flash......BBF homepage is important enough to have it's own dedicated monitor in my cluster, to which I hit the ocassional F5 to see what's happening. Having it flashing would drive me insane!!!!

Right. That was a dumb idea.
But bright red would do.
