Folks:

I'm a new BB user (7250) and I have been trying to get my Palm address book (Treo 600) over to BB without success. I am willing to re-enter everything but I've spent hours with Groupwise, Outlook Express and Excel trying to find a method to enter all the addresses. Groupwise and Outlook Express don't have the exact field structure as on the BB. Groupwise doesn't even come close and I cannot understand why the field mapping does not show all of the Handheld fields. Outlook Express is a little better but I have still lost fields (data in BB that I can't get over to Outlook and vice versa). I made an Excel spreadsheet with exact BB field headings but it would not import the data, plus I wish to Sync in the future and the ASCII exchange doesn't offer Sync.

This was a great feature with the Palm. An interface for the computer to exchange data with EXACT fields. Why doesn't BB offer something? It would be nice to have so you don't have to waist your time entering fields you can't sync.

Am I missing something here because I don't see many complaints about this on this site. Is there anything out there to accomplish this?

Outlook Full version. (Not Outlook Express) Syncs perfect for me with no field mapping, when I moved the PIM from PocketPC to BlackBerry.

Use "Pocket Mirror" software to sync your Treo to Outlook.
Then sync your BlackBerry to Outlook.
