Ok so is it just me or is this phone always breaking down! I have the blackberry pearl (black) and it is my second one because my first one the trackball went crazy and got stuck. So I sent it back and I got a second one now I have had this one for 3 days and again I have to send it back because the track ball when you push down wont select anything but if I dial 1 or try to use er it selects. Now my wife has the white pearl and she has had no problems! Is anyone out there having similar issues and if so what do I need to avoid? Should I just get a white one? ? ?

I've had the Pearl since it came out and haven't had any problems other than occasional dust/lint stuck in it (and turning dark.) Blow it out and it works fine. It's been pretty trouble free.

i work for t-mobile in the direct sales channel...basically im one of the sales girls.. and ive had that problem several times. i had the black one at first and my messages kept being erased, all of my call history would just vanish and the trackball would always get stuck... and now i have the white one.. have not had any problems.. my boyfriend has the black one.. and he seems to be having the same problems.. the only thing you can do is warranty exchanges.. but that kinda takes forever!!:( if you need anything else just let me know..
