Opera Mini 4 Beta on Curve
Please Login to Remove!
I cant even get past the screen to accept terms and conditions.
I know navigation isnt great using the pearl on Opera as it expects two menu buttons and not the trackball.
any idea how I can click the "Accept" button?

Hit 'Q' - the 'Q' and 'P' buttons map to those menu choices.

I think its a great looking browser, and a step in the right direction... it just needs interface optimizations for our blackberry's to make it worthwhile.
I love the overview mode and zoom, it is considerably faster than the bb browser and renders css type stuff a lot more accurately. I'll use it if they tweak it for us a little more.

Does anyone have a direct OTA link we can download this at? I am not at the computer which my desktop software is loaded, thus I cannot install it with the zip file.

Funny think is that I don't see either the overview or zoom functionality on mine, even though I know it's the Opera 4 Beta... I don't know why I don't see those options... any ideas?

Any chance you are running the 3.1 Opera? The new beta installs in parallel to the old one, it doesn't replace it.

Not even... After installing the 4 beta next to my 3.1 install and not seeing much difference, I uninstalled both and rebooted and reinstalled 4. It's very weird... my co-worker with a Pearl installed it and I see the overview stuff on his...

I found the problem (user error)... I had set the app to 'Auto Zoom' and wasn't seeing the overview because of that... Ug. Looks very nice now. Just wish there was a way to set the default browser on my curve to Opera now ![Wink](http://www.blackberryforums.com/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

I used the high memory version and it works great.
My question is how do you get the full page rendering like I see in all the promo shots? I can only get a modified column view.

Can't select pictures with 4.0 beta. At least with 3.1, I could select pictures... Although if I tried to download the image, it launched the blackberry browser, and I don't get the option to save the darn thing...

I have no problem viewing pictures on my curve with 4.0 beta - unlocked on t-mobile... they show up on the main pages and I can select them for a large view. So this isn't a problem everyone is experiencing.
So far, I love the new beta browser.

Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.50 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/4.0.8462/8; U; en))
Most likely it did not install correctly...go to menu - setting - about to see if it says version4 beta or 3
I had to install it with the default BB browse...the opera 3 would not download it and the desktop loader did nothing

I just downloaded it and it gave me an error message stating that I needed a data plan. I already have my BB add on plan to browse the net, do i need more?
